Theadford Carver Christian

Mr. Theadford Carver Christian was born June 21, 1943, in Thomasville, Alabama to the late Tommy and Annie Mae Christian. Theadford made his journey to heaven on January 16, 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida. 

He was a chemical engineer and a retired Duval County Public School educator at J.E.B. Stuart Middle School. He graduated from Edward Waters College in 1967 then continued on to Tuskegee University where in 1971, he earned his Master’s in Education and Science. During his college years, he was a respected member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.

After graduation, he enjoyed many travels around the United States and lived his life as a chemist, teacher, father, mentor, and friend. He was a kind, well-spoken man with a passion for family, all things science, music, fishing, basketball, football, and bowling.

Mr. Theadford Carver Christian was proceeded in death by his parents, and all his siblings; both brothers and sisters, whom he looked forward to being reunited with in heaven. He is survived by his children; daughter, Teri Dylewski (Robert), and son, Theadford A. Christian (Kristen), along with his grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He will always be remembered as a great man who lived life to its fullest and sung to the rhythm of his own song. 

In lieu of a ceremony, he would like for everyone to make a charitable donation to an organization of your choice and treat your family to a dinner at his favorite restaurant Red Lobster.
